Kent and Mandy are the cutest couple! I have been looking forward to their wedding since last winter when we went ice skating for engagement pictures. Oh - and for the record you both can really bust it out on a skating rink :)
While the girls were feeling beautiful at Blush Beauty Bar, the guys started of a relaxing morning with brunch at the Hotel Sask, followed by preparations at Kent and Mandy's House. This led to a wonderful ceremony at Resurrection Parish in Regina, we were treated to a pleasant summer day for formal photo's before the reception.
The reception was held at the new DoubleTree by Hilton. This was our first opportunity to photograph in this new hotel, and both us and the guests were treated to a beautiful venue, great food and a warm atmosphere. Throw in a few hundred family and friends and it was a heck of a party to celebrate this new chapter in Kent and Mandy's life together!
Congratulations to both you!
Cheers,
Nicole

We had the pleasure of photographing Mitch and Joren's wedding celebration on Saturday. The event began with a picture perfect ceremony at Holy Rosary Cathedral, one of Regina's beautiful old churches; and finished with a fun-filled reception at the Hotel Saskatchewan Ballroom. The weather even decided to cooperate! Rain clouds threatened to interrupt the wedding party photo shoot a few times, but the sun prevailed and we had one of the nicest afternoons of the summer!
Enjoy this sneak peek from the wedding and stay tuned for the complete blog post to follow in the next couple weeks.
Tina has been a great friend of mine for years. We lived together, worked together and partied together. I've been lucky enough to photograph weddings, families and babies for both Tina's sister and brother, and it was super exciting that it was Tina's turn at the altar! James and Tina went all out to plan a 50's style wedding, with 50's decor and even a 50's lunch at the Mercury Grill for family after the ceremony.
To make the theme even better, lots of the guests participated and showed up in their best 50's outfits. This one of a kind wedding was perfect for a special one of a kind gal!
Congratulations guys!
We had so much fun with Jim and Elly!
We started photographing the day at Blush Beauty Bar. Their wonderful team made everybody - guys and girls both - look fantastic for the camera. The wedding ceremony and reception then took place on Willow Island, with many of the family and friends in attendance making the trip from China to join Jim and Elly on their special day.
We also joined Jim and Elly for a tea ceremony the day before the wedding. It was great to photograph this tradition as the parents welcomed their new son-in-law and daughter-in-law into their families.
Jim & Elly - Thanks for being so great to photograph even after the rain poured down on the tent during the reception! We were rewarded with some stunning colours and smiling faces!
Levi and Michelle are both geologists and avid outdoors people, so we met them at their favourite camping spot at Pine Cree Regional Park in Southwestern Saskatchewan. Upon entering the valley, the rolling prairie disappears, replaced by whispering pines and quiet campsites that sit along the meandering creek full of brook trout.
We loved sharing this little piece of paradise with these two lovebirds for the afternoon.
Kenny and Lyla celebrated their wedding vows with family and close friends during a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Kiwanis Park.
It turned out to be a nearly perfect early summer day - the clouds eventually opened up, but we were quiet and dry inside the Deer Valley Club House when the rain came.
Congratulations Kenny and Lyla, we had a great day with you and your guests!
When Amanda got on the plane to go to Puerto Vallarta for a little sun and relaxation, she had no idea that Drew managed to secretly bring along a beautiful diamond engagement ring. Then, on a beautiful tuesday evening on the 16th floor balcony, Drew asked the magical question. Amanda said yes, and the couple are planning a beautiful lakeside wedding at their home in Southern Saskatchewan.
We felt super lucky to be with the small group of close friends on this day, and even more lucky to be in on the secret and able to capture the moment on camera.
Enjoy the pictures!
P.S. We also put some of these images together in a slideshow with the beautiful puerto vallarta skyscape. If you haven't seen that, it here also:
I had so much fun shooting Kent and Mandy's engagement photo's at the outdoor skating rink. We got lucky and found a nice winter afternoon, laced up the skates and got some great shots. I can't wait until the wedding day!
